Harold Ross

Harold Ross created The New Yorker magazine and found funding for it at the Algonquin. The magazine debuted in 1925, and Round Tablers Benchley, Parker and Woollcott contributed regularly. Ross began his career as the editor of Stars and Stripes, the Home Sector and the American Legion Weekly.
