This praised New York bar is a comfortable gathering spot for locals, visitors and business travelers alike, and a nightly meeting place for New York’s cultural and artistic elite. Here, stories and ideas are shared over perfectly poured martinis and cocktails. The atmosphere is at once comfortable and dynamic, and you never know who you might end up conversing with, or what you might overhear that could spark some ideas of your own.
The bar is enveloped by the artwork of longtime Algonquin regular, Al Hirschfeld. The pieces, donated by The Margo Feiden Galleries, feature Broadway shows past and present – Iincluding Rent, The Sound of Music, and Chicago.
Should you crave a little something to accompany your drink, the menu offers bar fare, complimenting a fine selection of wine, cocktails and domestic and imported beer.
The Blue Bar is open daily from 11:30am until 1:30am.
